• I don't have to choose between one person I love and another person I love.
• The communication required to make poly work makes for great relationships in general.
• I'm surrounded by honest ethical people who love me.
• I get to see my partners happy not only with me but with other people they love.
• I'm living my life on my own terms and not on the one-size-fits-all de-facto standards of society
• When a partner's partner is quite happy to take over washing the dishes

• Other people and the messed up things they have to say/think
• Teasing out the root cause of my negative emotions when I really cannot fathom what a partner sees in a new sweetie
• Treading the fine line between honouring all my partners and not being totally out to everyone we know.
