ZAPoly Event Code of Conduct

• This is a safe space and emotional and physical safety are our paramount concerns
• Please don't flirt or swap numbers or "Pick up" another member at the event, if you hit it off with someone please ask permission to connect with them outside ofthe event whilst respecting all personal boundaries. i.e. If someone does not consent to having you contact them, leave them alone no matter how you feel... Otherwise you will be called out for harassment.
• Respect personal space. Please treat people's personal boundaries around physical contact and conversation with respect. When in doubt assume that there is no consent.
• Do not initiate inappropriate conversation without consent. Silence is not consent. Avoiding or seeming uncomfortable means there is no consent.
• Do not tell other members they or their partners are attractive (regardless of your intentions).
• The space is inclusive of all identities, including lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender, intersex, queer, asexual, monogamy and kink, as well people from different races, religions and cultures.
• The space is confidential - to foster a sense of trust and sharing in the group please respect the privacy of those who attend.

Durban

As long as there are RSVP's we will meet once a month to eat good food and talk to other polyamorous people. Polyamory is the practice, desire, or acceptance of having more than one intimate relationship at a time with the knowledge and consent of everyone involved. You don't have to be polyamorous to attend - just open minded and friendly. Meet poly folks, eat good food, talk. Bring something to eat and something to share. If raining, bring enough cash to cover your own food and drinks at the rain venue.

This is an interest and discussion group for the polyamorous and poly-curious in Cape Town, South Africa and surrounds.  Polyamory, the possibility of being in romantically (Eros) loving relationships with more than one person at any given time. This is a lifestyle choice where all the individuals know about and accept the other relationships. Ethics, understanding, honesty and above all, communication are essential in Polyamory.
